Our story
From 2006 to the manor house, by way of the DANA floods.
We started in 2006
RobertÒptic opened its doors in La Torre in 2006, looking after the neighbourhood's eyesight and hearing with the personal touch of a traditional local optician.
The house and the DANA floods
Just before the October 2024 DANA floods, we were moving into a traditional Valencian manor house — wooden beams, exposed brick and a courtyard full of plants. The floodwaters destroyed both shops.
Reopening in January 2025
We rebuilt and reopened in January 2025, this time in the house. We brought optics and audiology together because caring for how you see and how you hear comes down to the same thing: feeling well and staying connected.

We came back thanks to you.
After the DANA floods, the neighbourhood rallied round us. That «thank you» written on our shop window sums up how we feel: community, support and the drive to carry on. Today we're still here in La Torre, giving it back to you every day.
And we remain committed to accessibility — including service in sign language — because no one should be left out.
